Court of Appeal in Warsaw

A newly designed team, respecting the historic and already iconic surroundings, tries to find a new architectural language linking the threads of different periods, styles and structures, creating a harmonious and majestic composition.

The designed complex refers to the pre-war tradition of court buildings centered around Krasiński Square, open buildings accessible from the street, forming an integral part of the structure of Warsaw. The open, green spaces around the buildings continue the pre-war custom of the palace of spending breaks between hearings among the greenery.

Organizing the entrance to the complex of buildings through a classic, formal courtyard with clearly outlined rhythms of openings continues the tradition of Warsaw administrative architecture, representative buildings with stately, adding solemnity entrances through the courtyard.
