The concept involves bringing the city closer to the river by creating objects with different functions and public ground floors forming the background for the Vistula garden - a green belt between the Copernicus Science Center and the Świętokrzyski Bridge. The individual zones of the garden — the Municipal Sports Square, the Polana Sztuki and the Discovery Park are an extension of the functions of the surrounding facilities - the Copernicus Science Centre, the Academy of Sciences and the planned sports facilities located on the south side of the railway bridge. The objects located in the garden strip in the form of a gastronomic pavilion and an urban roof allow to extend the recreation season on the Vistula itself, and their structure is built of greenery, thanks to which it is possible to maintain the character of a green oasis along its entire length. The creation of a public square by the river, rich in new functions and places of activity under the roof, will allow this part of the waterfront to come alive at different times of the day and year.
