The presented concept results from a holistic, integrated treatment of both the structure of the building itself and its surroundings, as well as the space of the entire campus. At both these levels, the project proposals lead to the creation of an optimal environment for student life in all its dimensions: education, integration, activation, social relations. The goal is to inspire work, creativity, while maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. One of the key aspects is the harmonious integration of the new building into the context of the university campus (existing and planned) — in the urban, architectural and programmatic sense. In the construction aspect, the project implements the assumptions of broadly understood sustainability: energy efficiency, optimization of implementation and operation costs, rationality of shaping the body, plan, system of construction, installation and material solutions. This also applies to the comfort and well-being of users. The designed building, together with the adjoining grounds, is the central, nodal point of the UW campus. It is the natural center of campus life. In the concept of the building, the goal was to create an optimal environment for student life in all its dimensions: education, integration, activation, social relations. Program-spatial structure built on the principle of synergy of two parts: the open composition of the ground floor and the upper part of the building facing the interior. In the metaphorical sense, but also in the mental perception, the ground floor of a building is a city, the mountain is a house. The functional structure of the building serves to obtain maximum flexibility, interchangeability of functions and to create the possibility of multiple combinations and relationships of spaces of different character - dedicated to current specific needs and purposes.
