All design activities within the building are aimed at preserving as much of the historical substance as possible, while the new matter fills in the gaps in a subdued manner. The concept approaches a historical matter with respect and proposes modern spatial solutions. The architecture of the theater hall retains the heritage elements of the interior, and the technical equipment is designed in a way to not to interfere with the historic decor of the hall. Paying attention to the needs of users, the space of the entrance hall is enlarged by adjacent rooms, enabling the creation of a spacious cafe with a reception function. The inner courtyard is arranged as an additional space for a welcoming meeting place for theater guests and employees. An open air event space has been arranged in the eastern part of the project.
