The ascetic form of the building and the severity of the materials used are the background for the presented souvenirs. The exhibition space was designed among trees, silent witnesses of the tragedy of years ago. The Museum of the Memorial in Palmyra is an object integrated into the landscape of the Kampino National Park. From the forest surrounding the cemetery, the object was fenced off with glass and steel. In the green roof, four round holes were cut to form glass chimneys - patios. A tree grows in each of them. Patias illuminate the exhibition space, at the same time separating individual parts of the exhibition and organizing the direction of its visit. The rectangular exhibition part is separated on three sides by a sculptural wall of the facade, covered with steel cladding, pierced at the outlet with 2252 holes. This number corresponds to the victims of German terror buried in the cemetery.
