Rectangular, compact, economical in the form of solid buildings are designed in the shape of stone blocks growing from a rocky hill. The European Geological Education Centre is a modern scientific and research centre and conference centre of the University of Warsaw. Picturesque inscribed in the landscape of the closed Korzecko quarry in Chęciny. Located in the heart of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, a region recognized as one of the most unique geologically in Europe and an excellent research area in the context of the development of geological education. The ECEG complex consists of five buildings: a representative main building, a teaching building — a laboratory and three modular hotel buildings: two for students and one for guests of the center and staff.
